GETTING CREATIVE WITH KIDDOS.

It is that bittersweet time to say goodbye to summer and hello to fall. Well, at least according to the calendar. We are fortunate to live in Florida, so we get spoiled by the warm weather for a while still. :) My summer was filled with Family Photography Sessions in Panama City Beach and the surrounding areas. I have whole heartedly enjoyed each of these sessions, and I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to help these families preserve memories they will cherish. I tackle each session with passion and creativity, and I’m pleased to capture the unique aspects of my clients.

Since each family is one of a kind, so is the creative process that captures what makes them special. During a Family Photography Session, kiddos may be super outgoing, personable, silly, smiley and in a great mood, or…. sometimes the kiddos are having a challenging day. Maybe they are hot, hungry, bored, shy, or got up on the wrong side of bed (we all have "those" days, even as adults). I connect with kiddos by bringing along some entertainment. Current, youngster-approved favorites are: bubbles, sparklers, glitter, and music. I also incorporate parent ideas for capturing the best in their kiddos. Somedays, it truly is a team effort. Ultimately, I aim to deliver as many memorable, hang-on- the-wall- worthy shots as possible. Somedays, this requires a little extra creativity, and I thrive on the challenge.
